Most bookkeeping falls into one of two camps. There are the large firms where you are a ticket number and the work is offshored to whoever is free, and there are the solo bookkeepers who do good work until they get too busy and things start slipping.
NA Financial sits deliberately in between. Small enough that Karla knows your business and answers when you call. Structured enough that the month end close happens on the sixth whether anyone is on vacation or not.
We work remotely with clients in all fifty states. In practice that means secure cloud access, scheduled calls when you want them and reports that arrive on time, which is what almost every client actually wants from a bookkeeper.

Four things we will not do.
Most of what makes a bookkeeper good is boring and invisible. These are the parts clients tell us they notice.
We will not bill you by the hour
Hourly billing punishes you for asking questions and rewards us for being slow. You get a fixed monthly price agreed in writing, and it does not change because a month was busy.
We will not make you feel stupid
If you are three years behind, you are in the majority of people who call us. It is a normal problem with a normal fix and nobody here is going to make it awkward.
We will not hold your data hostage
The file is yours. The subscription is in your name. If you leave, everything goes with you the same week, cleanly and without a fight.
We will not pretend to be your CPA
We keep the books and prepare the file. For tax strategy and filing you want a CPA, and we will happily work alongside yours or suggest one.
Documentation kept in order all year, not assembled in April.
Your financial data, handled properly.
You are being asked to hand over access to your bank feeds and your entire financial history. That deserves more than a reassuring sentence.
We use read only bank connections and accountant level access, never your personal banking login. Access is limited to the people doing your work and can be revoked by you at any time without asking us. Documents are stored encrypted, and we are bonded and carry professional liability insurance.
If you ever want to end the engagement, your data is exported and handed to you in full within the same week. No retention leverage, no exit fee.
